780 - 1090 Club - An excellent indie band that played in Pierre. I missed their show, but a friend of mind picked up the CD and I liked it.
779 - Tesla - An 80's rock band that got lumped in with the hair bands, sometimes unfairly, Tesla had a few solid hits that transcended their genre.
778 - Earth, Wind & Fire - One of the best R&B bands of the 70's, EW&F scored some of the biggest hits of the decade.
777 - The Alan Parsons Project - A late 70's prog rock band that had a few good songs outside of their bloated genre stylings.
776 - The Tubes - An 80's New Wave band that had a few hits before fading away.
775 - Meredith Brooks - A 90's one-hit wonder who struck it big with her Alanis knock-off "Bitch".
774 - The Mamas And The Papas - The legendary 60's folk rock band never made a huge impact on me, but I still can't turn my back on a catalog that rivals The Beach Boys for it's genre.
773 - Skid Row - One of the best of the hair bands, Skid Row had the best lead singer in the genre and a couple of their songs even stand up on their own.
772 - Lauryn Hill - The former Fugee released one of the greatest debut albums of all-time and then did... umm... nothing. She should do something else because, you know, she's really good...
771 - The Bangles - Not exactly the most credible girl group of all-time, but they did produce some of the best pop songs of the 80's, including "Walk Like An Egyptian" and "Hazy Shade Of Winter".
