New Shit This Week

DVDs:

Buy It:

None This Week

Rent It:

The Hunting Party - An indie movie that didn't play in a lot of theaters, but should be worth a look.

Reservation Road - Pretty much the same as The Hunting Party really. There's way too many good movies that fit this bill.

Sydney White - It could be worth a look if you like fractured fairy tales.

Skip It:

Saw IV - If you liked all of the first three, you'll like this one... and you deserve it too.

The Game Plan - The surprise hit of the fall, kinda like Wild Hogs was the surprise hit of the spring.

Borrow It:

Cat Power - Jukebox - The indie folk singer-songwriter releases her second album of covers.

The Drive-By Truckers - Brighter Than Creation's Dark - A reliable southern rock band that seems to have a new album out every six months, and that's not counting side projects.

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular - The latest "best new thing" to enter the market.

The Whigs - Mission Control - I really liked their first album, so this one should be worth a look too.
