Top 1000 Bands #750-#741

750 - Imogen Heap - An indie singer-songwriter who's been around for 10 years now and was recently nominated for a best new artist Grammy. Oh, Grammy, will you ever stop providing me with hilarious anecdotes?

749 - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - They only had one big hit, but "The Impression That I Get" was one of the best ska songs ever recorded.

748 - Procol Harum - A classic rock band that had a few decent-sized hits, but none bigger than "A Whiter Shade Of Pale".

747 - Under The Influence Of Giants - An emo band that's been accused of being derivative in the past, but created a solid debut album.

746 - The Ying Yang Twins - A Dirty South rap group from Atlanta with a lot of funky beats to their credit.

745 - The Moldy Peaches - Everyone's discovering the band now thanks to Juno, but they've been around for awhile making great, quirky music.

744 - Be Your Own Pet - A punk band that is literally comprised of a bunch of punk kids, they have a few good albums to their credit already.

743 - The Datsuns - A surprisingly musical hardcore metal band with one solid album to their name so far.

742 - The Stills - An indie rock band with a few great songs and a decent album.

741 - Blind Melon - As far as I'm concerned, they're still a one-hit wonder, but some people believe they're very important because their lead singer died.
