3:10 To Yuma - One of 2007's best films is on DVD just in time to make everyone wonder why it won't get any Oscar nominations.

VERDICT - BUY IT.


Sunshine - Danny Boyle's latest is far from perfect, but it's still one of the better sci fi films in recent years.

VERDICT - RENT IT.


The Ten - From what I've heard, this one should be pretty good, so I'll definitely check it out when I get a chance.

VERDICT - RENT IT.


Death Sentence - A good ride in the theater, but my memories of it haven't held up too well, so no purchase for me.

VERDICT - RENT IT.


Mr. Woodcock - In this case, I'm giving higher ranking to the potentially awful movie that I haven't seen yet.

VERDICT - RENT IT.


Good Luck Chuck - And this would be the awful movie that I have seen. Pretty damn bad.

VERDICT - SKIP IT.


Dragon Wars - An Asian sci fi movie with giant lizards that didn't get great reviews or buzz? Yikes, it must be horrible.

VERDICT - SKIP IT.


CDs:

Kate Nash- Made Of Bricks - Potentially the next Lily Allen, I intend to pick up this CD the next time I'm in Sioux Falls, assuming it's still at that new artist price.

VERDICT - BUY IT.


Marah - Angels Of Destruction - They're not the greatest indie rock band, but they do have a good track record.

VERDICT - BORROW IT.
